Why do marketers use psychographic segmentation?

Psychographic segmentation makes or breaks customer profiling, particularly in this case with online reputation management agencies. Last year, a friend of mine used these agencies to help his startup, and they, in turn, worked on messaging that conveyed the customers' values and interests. It was never about demographics. It was more about how people think. That activated an emotional connection that fostered trust and engagement. Honestly, that taught me a lesson today: understanding your audience's mindset changes the game in digital marketing.
